Blue Hippo Tang

Put more hot pad in the box. When you have a box as big as my order (6 fish + Coral). Two heatpad is not enough. The Lieutenant tang and the Blue hippo was in really bad shape. I give 3 hours to acclimate to the good temp but those two fish was in too bad shape. Died in the night. All fish and coral was in bad shape.. but those two was swimming upside down and couldn't survive.

First time I have problem with the transport like that. Candy Coral is a really good company, it was a packaging mistake.

I received a tiny little hippo tang. 2 weeks in and he's a pig and growing quickly. Really happy with all my shipments I've always received from Candy corals and will continue to order from them.

Note about ordering the hippo:
When I first opened the box, the tang looked lifeless and colourless on its side. Upon floating the bag and opening to oxygenate within an hour his colour had returned and he was pretty lively after being added to the tank. Don't panic if on delivery they look a little lifeless. They may just be a bit stressed or sleeping from the dark box.
