Red African Biscuit Starfish

The specimen i received looks identical to the photo, if not even prettier in person. one of the most magnificent creatures i’ve ever seen. healthy and active- Candy Corals does it again!!

I absolutely love my little guy. Word of warning, after a few weeks of happily eating a variety of foods, he up and ate a big rodactis mushroom (orange) about a week ago. He just sat on it for a day and poof there is just a smudge left of what was a big mushroom.
I forgive him. He’s awesome. I have like 5 other mushrooms, each were also in $50 range. Just going to ride this out.
He’s very active and happy. Super fun to watch, and other than my mandarin, my fav tank dweller. The African variety aren’t supposed to eat corals, but you never REALLY know, as I found out. Just know you’re rolling the dice adding these to mushroom heavy tanks, esp if your mushrooms are more $$$ than mine were!!!

Cool little beast can really move around the tank.
