The TUNZE® Osmolator® 3 nano is a simple and safe device with just one sensor for maintaining a constant water level in aquarium systems up to approx. 250 liters (66 US gal.), can be placed in cabinet filter systems or directly on the edge of the aquarium. The sensor works on glass panes up to 12 mm (1/2”) . The hose holder holds up to 22 mm (0.87”) .
Ready to install with 12V power supply, low-voltage dosing pump, 3 m hose, hose holder, magnet holder up to 12 mm and protective cover for the sensor.
This has been a great ATO for me so far. Really easy to set up and the water level sensor specifically is one the highest quality I’ve used. Performance is also great, when the pump runs I barely hear it and the water level sensor seems to handle minor fluctuations in water level well. Previous ATOs I’ve used have seemed overly sensitive for smaller AIO style aquariums where the ATO was mixing in and off over the smallest changes but this handles it really well.
My only minor gripe is the size of both the pump and the sensor. Compared to come of the newer options on the market, the pump itself is a little larger and it can be a challenge to find a reservoir with a lid/hole that the pump will fit in. Likewise for the sensor, it’s also on the bigger side but I guess that’s what you get for such stable performance.
Overall, fantastic ATO and would buy again, just be cautious of size and plan for that with your reservoir
