RR Golden Rod Anacropora Sp. Frag

I’ve been considering trying Anacropora for a good while now after having success with Montipora and how much more tolerant to less than perfect conditions they are compared to acrapora species I have been biding my time to come across something that was different enough from what I already had at a price that I could justify the gamble and boy was I pleasantly surprised when my golden rod came in it’s got these crimson ish maroon polyps and a bright near metallic yellow body with the stereotypical white tips of branching SPS think the yellow colour of Pikachu Zoas and it’s been doing extremely well thus far I have it in the middle of my system near the top my system is a fluval flex 32.5 with 2 of the fluval sea 3.0 lights running Sicce Syncra silent nano 1.5 return pump 2 sicce voyager nano wave makers the 1000 and the 2000 with a AquaMaxx HOB-R hang on back refugium with the tunze eco chic refugium light using dragon’s breath macro algae the system is filled with a thin sand bed and with 55-60 lbs of live rock it does really well my frag is beautifully coloured and I’m just wishing I would have went for it sooner as it would be something really special by now if I wouldn’t have waited…. That said I’ve never not gotten absolutely amazing frags from Candy Corsls!
