Over time, the efficiency of the UV sterilizer will diminish as the lamp degrades and no longer emits the same amount of energy or spectrum.  Replace your UV lamp and quartz sleeve once a year or every 10,000 hours to keep your IceCap UV Sterilizer working like new.

Compatibility: 

• 27W UV Lamp is compatible with the IceCap 27W In-Sump UV Sterilizer (IC-UVR27INT) and the IceCap 27W High Output UV Sterilizer (IC-HOUV-27W)
• 40W UV Lamp is compatible with the IceCap 40W In-Sump UV Sterilizer (IC-UVR40INT) and the IceCap 40W High Output UV Sterilizer (IC-HOUV-40W)
